Intensify Orgasms
Pelvic floor muscles are one important key to wonderful, powerful, strong orgasms for women. One can learn to increase and prolong pleasurable vaginal contractions through kegel exercises.
Many of women do not have orgasms through intercourse…
Or what is normally considered “the main course” in the male dominated world we are living in right now. We will never know the real percentages because it is considered abnormal not to have orgasms during “the main course”. Few women actually admit to this. Like with many other things in our society we just try to blend in and not stand out as different in any way.
During penetration the male’s sex organ is stimulated constantly while the primary female sexual organ, the clitoris, is left high and dry. Maybe nature did this so women would want to try again later to ensure that people would have to have sex often enough to procreate.
Maybe the designer just forgot to put a button above the penis so it would hit the clit just right. In any case learning to engage the vaginal muscles can create much more stimulation to the entire female vulva area as well as increasing bladder control and tonus to all the female sex organs.
How to strengthen pelvic floor muscles:
Dr. Kegel fist coined the term Kegel. You can do these movements anywhere. No one will know you are doing them. It is not the squeezing of thighs together or “pinching a penny” between the buttocks cheeks. Although those are useful movements those are not kegels.
Kegels are tiny micro movements done with the muscles deepest and closest to the pelvic bones. If you do this right no one can see what you are doing unless they are staring straight at your vulva or anus area. It should feel as if you are stopping the urine from coming in mid stream. As a matter of fact this is a good way to know if you are doing the right movements.
The Kegel Master: my favorite piece of exercise equipment!
Kegels done against nothing at all or with a solid object inserted into the vagina are both very beneficial but with the kegelmaster you can actually strengthen the muscles a lot more than with an immovable object. This patented device comes with 4 different springs so you can add on as you get stronger.
Here is what it looks like:
You can also see an animated diagram at the site of the doctor in San Diego who specializes in this. It is very easy to use. and it does not involve any pain. the spring increments make it so you can build up gradually.
Don’t’ accept cheap imitations. Make sure you get the patented original with four springs so you can increase the difficulty as you get stronger.
When to Kegel:
You can do rhythmic kegels while you drive or watch TV or any time at all. In pilates we use the pelvic floor muscles to make the deepest layers of abdominal wall “fire” or engage.
In Astanga Yoga we use the term “mula bunda” which is the engagement of the pelvic floor muscles to aid in abdominal and core support for the poses. But the best time of all is during sex…Even if you are in great shape you can create more intense pleasure through the use of specific resistance training for the vaginal and pelvic floor muscles.
